I've decided to start archiving my 5-things lists here, along with any full length (ha!) fic that gets written. This post will stick at the top, but I'm beginning the archiving after Christmas 2007. :)

I use this journal solely to archive my 5-things-ing, and any possible full length fan fiction that gets written. I post very rarely. Feel free to friend me. If you friend me without ever commenting on my fic, I might be a tad putout. I'm not very into LJworld, I make no personal posts, just random spurts of fic. I do my best to comment on fic I like, and that's about it. I love feedback and get sad and confused when my posts got lots of hits but no comments. :)

Inspired by Doctor Who's "Turn Left:" Pick one of my stories and tell me a point in the tale that you'd change. Something tiny (e.g. "and then Fay chose silver glitter instead of gold") or big (e.g. "and then Rose was arrested instead of Jack") and I'll tell you how that one difference would have altered the course of the entire story.

And a Wordle of what's in the pipeline, which was supposed to be for the bonus round of the genficathon, except it's over. Oops. It'll show up eventually, probably for a flash_fic entry at this point. The original prompt was "I trust you and that makes you true; I don't care if that isn't the way it is. Not going to lie, I was totally going to post an entry about how I wouldn't be going over there since I'm not cool enough to get an invite and too cheap to buy an account once they're out of beta.

But then I got a free account. I think my openID was chosen at random. Pretty much the first time I've 'won' anything ever.

That said, unless sga_flashfic and sg_rarepairings  end up over there, I'm pretty much not going anywhere. All entries will be duplicated here and there, I guess, though I don't have any 'friends' over there, so I'm not sure there's point.

So, my story that is a quasi sequel to a < 3,000 word story, is now up to 12, 500 words. That was not supposed to happen. I planned on < 10,000. Apparently that's something I can only accomplish when pinch hitting for various ficathons. I need deadlines, but not deadlines I signed up for. Deadlines other people failed to meet.


And of course I wordled it. I thought it came out interesting.

Hopefully I'll wrap it up <20k.

The Undone Years is going to be the longest fic I've ever written, hopefully coming in at 45,000 words. And two months late to the challenge it was written for. FAIL. But I haven't been granted posting access to lostcityfound anyway, but once it's done it will be going up here immediately so I can finally be done.
